New ETFE design in Braunschweig and Ebikon

In March 2017, Temme // Obermeier specialists for membrane architecture moved to stunning new design offices and storage facilities in Rosenheim within convenient reach of the A8 motorway.

In addition to the move, March was a busy month for Temme // Obermeier. They completed one project in Braunschweig on behalf of the main contractor Volksbank Braunschweig and started on site with another in Ebikon, Switzerland.

The Lilienthalhaus project in Braunschweig is a fitting home for the prestigious research and service centre for civil aviation, aerospace and mobility. The atrium consists of single cushion covering an impressive 418 m². The aim of the design was to transform this atrium into a light-filled open space suitable for conferences and events – the brief has been well and truly achieved.
Installation of the ETFE foil single membrane ‘panels’ onto the façade of the new Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon Switzerland, on behalf of the client Halter AG from Zurich, also commenced in March. These ETFE panels cover an area of 9,300 m² to create a striking interactive canvas. (Stadiaworld, 13.10.2017)
