Together with the installer company Dallmeier Systems, experiences from more than 30 German cities in the field of “video security technology in safe cities” will be shared (Messe Frankfurt am Main, Hall 3 EG, Exhibition Stand B71). A technical lecture by Dallmeier Safe City expert Frank Salder rounds off the trade fair presentation.

Video security projects are usually not an everyday task

The performance of modern video technology in public areas contributes more and more successfully to solving, preventing or intervening in some cases of serious crimes. At the same time, those responsible from the city, police and authorities face the same problems and questions again and again in almost all Safe City projects. Equipping public areas with video security technology is not an everyday task. Successful implementation depends on a wide variety of variables - whether in the decision-making process, in the public discussion, in the course of planning or during implementation.

Dallmeier presents best practices from over 30 major city projects

In order to support national and international security authorities, Dallmeier will present best practices from over 30 successfully implemented major city projects at this year's GPEC, the 12th international trade fair for homeland security. For example, cities such as Cologne, Frankfurt am Main, Offenbach and Darmstadt are already using the manufacturer's patented Panomera® multifocal sensor cameras. In many places, the Panomera® Privacy Shield ensures comprehensive and highly visible data protection at the push of a button.

At the Dallmeier booth, decision-makers and experts from authorities, police and politics will receive information on the evaluation, planning and implementation of urban video security measures. At the same time, the lecture by Dallmeier Safe City expert Frank Salder entitled “Video projects in public spaces: a calculation with many unknowns” will offer interested trade visitors an exciting overview of topics such as the protection of freedom of assembly at rallies, the right choice of technology to be used, a holistic view of the costs incurred or even the sustainable handling of the existing cityscape.
