The interoperability between ScorePad and all FIBA-certified Bodet scoreboards proved to be a deal maker for the FFBB (French Federation of Basketball). The French NM1 (Nationale Masculine 1) league’s game in October 2016 provided the perfect opportunity for the FFBB to put ScorePad to the test. Outcome: the Federation was delighted by the scoreboard and decided to equip its major scorekeeping systems with ScorePad.

Patrick Delpech, the first scorekeeping official to adopt ScorePad in a competition setting, stated that “tThis is the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for. You only need 10 minutes to enter the prematch settings, and that’s a significant amount of time saved. You can access all information from the same screen, which is highly appreciable.”

Patrick Beesley, Technical Director and General Manager of the FFBB went even further to say that “Bodet has been our key scoreboard company for more than 17 years. We are delighted that the ScorePad touch screen console has now been launched. It’s a modern, fun to use and intuitive tool for our 2,400 score table officials.” Since then, ScorePad has become the ideal companion for the biggest sports fixtures and largest sports arenas. These include the Men’s and Women’s EuroBasket competition, the World Men’s Handball Championship and the Stade Pierre-de-Coubertin in Paris, the home venue of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball Club.
