In August, the final event of the year-long Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit bow took place on a special arena in Berlin. A long-standing partner of Pe2M GmbH provided the accreditations for the events.
On the 12th and 13th of August, the final event in the year-long Hyundai Archery World Cup circuit bow took place on a specially constructed arena on the Lilli-Henoch sports ground at Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin. More than 2,000 spectators were able to experience the best archers from all over the world.
The qualification of more than 300 archery athletes from more than 40 nations on the over 100,000 m² sports ground in the immediate vicinity of the Olympiastadion of Berlin was carried out beforehand. Here, archers competed for the last qualifying points toward a Final in Rome, with only seven spaces available.
World Archery is the organiser of the Hyundai Archery World Cup. The tour consists of a series of up to four stages and a grand final. In 2017, the stages were held in Shanghai, Antalya, Salt Lake City and Berlin, and the final in Rome. For the accreditation of the events, Pe2M’s long time partner Wings from Italy delivered four 2XL printers as well as 20,000 pre-printed XXL cards. Together with the accreditation system developed by World Archery to the special requirements of the sport itself, a comfortable, safe and fast complete solution has been created for athletes and officials.
„With this new solution, we are saving a lot of time", says Matteo Pisani, World Archery IT Manager, „and we offer professional large size passes to all participants. The feedback from everyone is positive."
