Compact design – high printing speed

At the international trade fair for card identification devices Trustech there was already the first sneak preview – now Pe2M brings the promising all-rounder DASCOM direct card printer DC-2300 to the dealers.

The DASCOM DC-2300 is a direct thermal card printer specifically designed for front-desk applications. Its introduction sets „new standards“ for both high-security ID card printing and technically demanding and security-sensitive applications, the company explains.

With its compact design, the printer does not take up much space and delivers fast and crisp results. With a resolution of up to 300 x 1,200 dpi, fine details become visible and with a print speed of up to 180 cards/hour in colour or 900 cards/hour in black and white, even large print jobs can be completed in a short time.

Edge-to-edge printing makes the DC-2300 the perfect partner for employee badges and membership or loyalty cards, according to Pe2M. Easily replaceable ribbons and an OLED display on the front that informs about the current status make daily work easier. The printer also delivers a high ribbon capacity of up to 500 cards in colour or 1,650 cards in monochrome. (STADIAWORLD, 07.03.2022)
