Grass technology company launches new branding

SGL System is a Dutch Technology-provider for monitoring and maintenance systems for natural grass in venues. The company has just rethought its branding-strategy and made a gentle update, including a new logo.

As Nico van Vuuren, SGL founder and president, says, the company tries “to make sure that the technologies’ potentials can be used in a better way“. The company offers technologies and systems to reach top-quality-grass under many different circumstances like during a cold winter as well as a hot summer. Moreover, SGL says, thanks to the technologies the grass can be used for way more events and on the highest level for Cup-Finals as well. Like the company demonstrated in Lushniki in Russia and will also demonstrate in the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.


The monitoring-systems, as SGL says, give “complete insights into your playing surface” 24/7. That could lead to an increasing resource efficiency and reduce the risk of failure. Furthermore, the company wants to support “objective and proactive decisions”. These two points combined could reduce economical effort and maximize quality, SGL tells. The company’s technologies, SGL says, support “grass growth across the entire surface, all year round” and improved the “quality of play”. Furthermore, thanks to the stronger growth and the associated higher grass quality, the players’ safety could become increased and even the event revenues increased, the Dutch company says.

In addition to that, the company offers innovative care-solutions that are distinguished by its sustainability, according to SGL. Due to the innovative UVC technology, the health and care of the grass can be guaranteed in a long term, even without using chemicals, which creates a better image in terms of sustainability and reduces the ecological footprint.
