The Vaudoise aréna is the focal point of the CSM sports and leisure complex in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Spanish company daplast has equipped the multifunctional arena with a new, variable seating solution.
The whole complex comprises a full three ice rinks, including the main playing field, a training field and an outdoor ice rink. In addition to the seating solution in the arena, Spanish stadium seating manufacturer daplast also designed a new 61-seat press area. The entire installation was carried out between December 2018 and July 2019.
The 8,000-seat Vaudoise aréna is a multi-purpose venue for ice hockey games, concerts and shows. Accordingly, one of the most difficult requirements was to make part of the installed seats easily removable. The final solution, "Avatar Basic Seat", is fixed on metal rails and can be easily removed depending on the needs of the event.

New equipment was also installed in the arena's press area. This includes, among other things, new press tables, each with two chairs that can be rotated 360 degrees, which adapt to the available space and still allow sufficient freedom of movement.
