ARENA MILANO: LED Façade Celebrates Its Premiere
One of Europe’s most modern arenas is currently taking shape in Milan. With the inauguration of its new LED media façade, now partially operational, the construction project has reached another milestone on the way to completion.
With the ARENA MILANO project, one of Europe’s most exciting arena developments is currently underway in Milan. Preparatory construction work for what CTS EVENTIM says will be Italy’s largest arena has been ongoing since the end of May 2023. Following the official groundbreaking ceremony in November 2023, a state-of-the-art venue is now being built in the Santa Giulia district, southeast of Milan’s city center, with a capacity of 16,000 seats. The project also includes the construction of a 10,000-square-meter piazza that will be used for festivals and open-air events during the summer months. A milestone for the entire construction project was recently marked with an evening event and dinner celebrating the commissioning of the new LED media façade.
