Brisbane 2032: Draft Vision for Victoria Park Precinct
A new Olympic Stadium and the National Aquatic Centre are to be built in Victoria Park for the 2032 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane. A draft plan shows what the site might look like in the future.
Victoria Park will play a central role in the 2032 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane. Construction of a further venue for the Summer Games is also planned in Victoria Park: initial designs for the National Aquatic Centre were presented at the end of July 2026. Swimming, diving, water polo and artistic swimming are to take place there during the Games. Afterwards, it is intended to be used as a public swimming centre and a training facility for elite sport.
