Eden Park Introduces Field-Level Hospitality
Eden Park, New Zealand’s national stadium, is in the process of extensively renovating most areas of the venue. The latest novelty: A field-level hospitality club, combining proximity to the action with comfort.
Eden Park is “setting a new benchmark for live event experience in New Zealand”, with a 10 million NZD (approx. 4m GBP / 5m EUR / 6m USD) redevelopment of the Lower West Stand, creating the Coca-Cola Field Club – a permanent field-level hospitality destination beneath the goalposts, as the venue states in their official release. The project is a tangible step in the delivery of Eden Park 2.1 and “reflects the stadium’s continued evolution as a world-class destination where major sport, entertainment, hospitality and shared experiences come together”.
The Coca-Cola Field Club uses existing stadium infrastructure to combine proximity to the action with a social, contemporary and flexible hospitality environment designed to enhance the fan experience across event and non-event days. Once complete, the new space will enable ticketholders to arrive early, stay late and extend their experience beyond the game or event, with hospitality offerings throughout all event stages.
Eden Park Chief Executive Nick Sautner says: “This new space will give people another way to experience the scale, energy and occasion of live events and reflects how leading stadiums around the world are evolving to meet changing fan expectations. Many fans and guests are looking for more than a seat. They want atmosphere, connection, choice and experiences that extend beyond the match, concert or event itself. This project responds to that shift and is a practical example of Eden Park 2.1 being brought to life.”
Naylor Love has been appointed as head contractor for the West Stand redevelopment, which is expected to be completed mid-October 2026. The Coca-Cola Field Club will support a range of uses across sport, concerts, corporate events, private functions and non-event day bookings. The West Stand redevelopment will also include a new Level 2 balcony – an outdoor hospitality space overlooking the turf and providing panoramic views of the stadium from the west.
Naylor Love CEO, Bruno Goedeke said: “It’s an absolute privilege to be working at New Zealand’s national stadium. Our Projects & Interiors team specialises in delivering bespoke, high-quality projects at speed, and we’ve hit the ground running following a hugely productive pre-construction phase. We can’t wait to see people enjoying the new Coca-Cola Field Club at Eden Park.” (stadiaworld, 06.08.2026)
