The atmosphere of a concert in front of tens of thousands of fans, set in the architectural uniqueness of a stadium, is something no other event venue can provide. Since rock bands first turned sports stadiums into concert venues in the 1970s and 1980s, the operators of these venues have recognized the advantages of hosting concerts.
