Nokia Arena: New Finnish landmark
With the Nokia Arena in the heart of the city of Tampere, Finland‘s largest multifunctional arena opened its doors in December 2021. Particular emphasis is placed on a seamless customer journey and a digital experience.
Over a million visitors per year, 600 jobs a day and 1,200 on event days – plus a good 150 events a year and a capacity of up to 15,000: Nokia Arena in the heart of the major city of Tampere in southern Finland is one of the most important addresses for sports and shows in Finland. Designed for mixed-use, the complex includes a multi-purpose ice hockey arena, a hotel and five adjacent towers with a podium that includes residences, retail and offices. The result is an urban center for work, living and leisure. The towers are currently still under construction, the arena opened its doors in December 2021.
