Study: Women’s EuroBasket 2025 Was a Financial Success
From 18th to 29th June 2025, the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket took place across four host cities in four different countries. A recent study analysed the economic impact of the newly restructured tournament, concluding that it was a clear success.
The 2025 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket was the first edition of the “flagship tournament” to be staged in four different countries – the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Greece – and it was widely praised for setting new attendance and engagement records.
