Campaign Spotlights Mobile Irrigation System
Perrot has unveiled a new communication campaign titled “Where Is the Engine?”, placing the spotlight on Rollcart, a solution for mobile irrigation – with the aim to challenge conventional assumptions about irrigation technology.
Rollcart is designed to move across the field while irrigating, relying solely on water pressure to function. Once connected to a standard water hose, the system uses hydraulic energy to propel itself and distribute water evenly, eliminating the need for fuel, electricity, or complex mechanical infrastructure. According to Perrot, this approach significantly simplifies installation and operation, while reducing both energy consumption and maintenance requirements. The campaign title, “Where Is the Engine?”, is intended to draw attention to what Rollcart deliberately leaves out. By removing engines and power units from the equation, the system offers a practical response to the growing demand for low-impact irrigation solutions in turf and landscaping. Its mobile design allows it to adapt to different field layouts and irrigation needs, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Rollcart has become an iconic product within the Perrot portfolio, particularly for users seeking flexibility and reliability without the complexity typically associated with mechanized irrigation systems. The absence of construction work also means that fields can be irrigated without permanent installations, preserving soil structure and enabling rapid deployment.
With this new campaign, Perrot reinforces its focus on simplicity, mobility, and effectiveness - key themes that align with current industry priorities around resource efficiency and ease of use. “Where Is the Engine?” positions Rollcart not just as a product, but as a different way of thinking about irrigation: one where water itself becomes the driving force.
