Aston Villa Announced Accelerated Renovation Timeline
Aston Villa FC has announced an accelerated timeline for the major North Stand redevelopment at Villa Park. The stand will be closed for the entire 2026/27 season. The renovation was originally expected to take two seasons.
Aston Villa FC has been planning to modernise Villa Park for some time. In 2022, the Birmingham-based Premier League club officially announced the expansion. Planning continued, and in spring 2025 the club published its plans for the redevelopment of the North Stand, along with the publication of new renderings.
