IIHF World Cup 2026: Venues, Ticketing and More
From May 15 to 31, the 89th Men's Ice Hockey World Championships will take place; this year being held in Switzerland. stadiaworld takes a look at the two host venues, public and VIP ticket prices, and more.
A total of 64 games featuring 16 participating nations will be played over the period of 17 days in Fribourg and Zurich. For Switzerland, this marks the first time hosting the final stage of an Ice Hockey World Championship since 2009; the 2020 tournament originally planned there was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Venues are the BCF Arena in Fribourg and the Swiss Life Arena in Zurich.
