New Signing Strengthens Stadium And Indoor Projects

Daktronics is expanding its sales team in Europe: Steffan Piolet will lead the expansion of indoor and stadium projects across multiple regions and is tasked with strategically driving new market opportunities in the European market.

Daktronics has expanded its international sales team with the hiring of Steffan Piolet to expand the company’s indoor and stadium projects in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe. He began his role early in 2026 and will focus on ensuring the market understands how our indoor offerings differ from the outdoor business.

"We’re delighted to welcome Steffan to Daktronics UK. Steffan brings a rare combination of elite sport, digital signage and sports technology experience, which perfectly aligns with where our business and our markets are heading,” said Patrick Halliwell, Daktronics managing director in the UK. “His sales leadership will be instrumental as we continue to grow our stadium presence and expand our indoor and emerging market offerings across the region.”

Previous experience for Piolet has been in multiple phases, including a digital signage integrator in the retail and hospitality industries, in sports technology for launching and monetizing direct-to-consumer streaming services, and playing sports as a professional cricket player.

“I feel like this role at Daktronics is a perfect hybrid of all my professional experience to date,” said Piolet. “I’m looking forward to joining this fast-moving space and focusing on identifying where demand, differentiation and commercial impact truly align, and then pushing forward on those aspects.” (Stadiaworld, 20.05.2026)
