Real-world Venue Performance to InfoComm 2026
Electro-Voice and Dynacord will turn the spotlight on real-world performance with "Hearing is Believing," a focused, application-based listening experience in Demo Room N228 on the second floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Rather than relying on specification sheets, the experience invites consultants, integrators, dealers, and end users to hear how complete Electro-Voice and Dynacord systems perform across the applications they design for every day.
That real-world focus has a fitting reference point. In Minneapolis, 7th St Entry — part of the legendary First Avenue complex and one of the most storied places in American live music, immortalized in Prince's Purple Rain — is also where the next-generation EVF G2 and EVH G2 point-source loudspeakers were launched worldwide. When the venue's aging sound system could no longer keep up, the First Avenue production team chose the EVF G2 series, making 7th St Entry the first venue worldwide to install it. The entire system is powered by Dynacord IX Series power amplifiers and set up and controlled with SONICUE Sound System Software — the same technology visitors will hear in Room N228.
"InfoComm lets people stop reading about a system and start listening to it," said Robert Ferguson, Director of Installed Sound at Electro-Voice and Dynacord. "We built the demo around real applications, so consultants, integrators, and customers can connect what they hear directly to the design challenges they face in their own projects."
Inside the demo
The "Hearing is Believing" presentation is built around three core listening segments. The first highlights the EVID commercial loudspeaker portfolio for hospitality, retail, and commercial applications. The second features the LRC Line Radiator Column family, focused on worship, lecture halls, and auditoriums where intelligibility, coverage control, and architectural fit are essential. The third showcases the next-generation EVF G2 and EVH G2 arrayable point-source systems, demonstrating higher-output solutions for sports, worship, entertainment, and large venues. Throughout the room, every loudspeaker is driven by Dynacord power amplifiers. The demo room also showcases Dynacord's new V Series Zone Audio Platform, the IX Series family with SONICUE Sound System Software, and the Electro-Voice EVOLVE portable powered column family.
