Stadium Comparison: Allegiant Stadium vs. SoFi Stadium
When the two most expensive stadiums in history are opened in a short period of time, it grabs attention across the industry. Both in Los Angeles and in Las Vegas, new boundaries have been pushed.
On 17th of November 2016, construction began at the former horse racetrack site in Inglewood for the new stadium, which has been the home of the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams since the start of the 2020 season. This was a massive project: the stadium alone cost about 2.2 billion euros (2.4bn USD / 1.98bn GBP).
