FC Barcelona opens showroom for hospitality areas
FC Barcelona has set up a showroom to market the new modernised VIP areas in the renovated Camp Nou. The club promises to set "new standards in the industry" with this offer.
The construction work at the new Spotify Camp Nou continues to take shape. Even before the footballers are expected to return to Camp Nou at the end of 2024, a new showroom for the hospitality areas at Spotify Camp Nou has been opened. In October 2023, FCB presented the new Barça hospitality offer for the future Spotify Camp Nou, which has already been very well received. 90% of the products already on offer have already been sold, including 20 VVIP suites, 96 boxes and the box seats in the first VIP area.

The club opened a 1,000 square metre showroom in May in order to market the highest-quality premium rooms accordingly. This is intended to "set new standards in the industry and offer a unique experience to anyone interested in Barça Hospitality's new offering". In the showroom, virtual reality and holograms, as well as the most innovative technologies, will be put at the service of anyone who wants to see first-hand the new VIP seats and boxes of the future Spotify Camp Nou in an exclusive atmosphere.
FC Barcelona has defined two main sources of income to finance the Espai Barça and generate new revenue. On the one hand, the conclusion of new sponsorship agreements, including, for example, the sale of the naming rights to Spotify. On the other hand, maximising revenue from matchday income and the VIP areas, which is why the number of boxes and VIP seats of the highest quality in the new stadium will be tripled. Both approaches together are expected to generate around 120 million euros (approx. 130m USD / 102m GBP) in annual revenue for the club.
Jesus Bueno, Managing Director of Legends Iberia, explained that FC Barcelona is "pioneering in Europe by using an immersive showroom concept to let fans experience the future Spotify Camp Nou up close." He added that the showroom "uses virtual reality, holograms and interactive activities to give fans an insight and allow them to experience the excitement of a matchday at the future stadium." His company is honoured to be working with FC Barcelona to realise the club's innovative vision for a world-class hospitality experience at the future Spotify Camp Nou.
FCB President Joan Laporta concluded by expressing his pride: "I am proud of the work that the club and Legends are doing together to offer all the people who want to enjoy Barça in the new stadium a unique experience that will be the best in the world."
The new office will be used until the stadium renovation is completed. It covers an area of around 1,000 square metres and can be accessed via the club's offices. It is intended to be a benchmark for the sector and provide an attractive offer for all those interested in Barça Hospitality. Work on Camp Nou has been underway since June 2023, with Barcelona president Joan Laporta declaring that the new-look stadium will be "a collective dream for all Barça fans". The club will play at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys during the renovation phase. (stadiaworld, 22.05.2024)
