Paris 2024 breaks attendance record
The Olympic and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 concluded with the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games. In retrospect, the organizers announced a record number of spectators for both major events.
Even before the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, there was immense demand: over 2 mio. tickets for the Paralympics had already been sold before the start. 1 mio. of them were sold during the Olympic Games between July 26 and August 11. The Olympics were also well attended, leading to a record ticket sale announcement.
