Two candidates for the 2027 UEFA Champions League final
After the UEFA withdrew the 2027 UEFA Champions League final from Milan's Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, the European football association announced the interest of two national federations in hosting the final.
In May 2024, UEFA revealed the host cities for the 2026 and 2027 European club competition finals. However, just a few months later, it revised its decision for the 2027 men's Champions League final. The final will not take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza as originally planned. Due to uncertainties surrounding potential renovation processes, UEFA withdrew its approval for the stadium to host the final.
