New app for precise counting in large crowds

The new Dallmeier AI High Resolution Counting App enables precise counting even with a high number of people and vehicles in the analysis area. It is intended for use at airports and in parking lots.

The app allows several counting zones to be defined, the counting interval to be set and limit values to be defined, which trigger a message to the client software if they are exceeded or not reached.

Typical applications for the Dallmeier AI High Resolution Counting App include counting people in airport waiting areas or vehicles in large parking lots. Depending on the camera model, between 500 and 4000 objects can be reliably detected and classified.  

Optimized for a high number of objects

The neural network analyzes the entire image in an adjustable interval that can last between 5 and 60 seconds. When developing the AI High Resolution Counting neural network, the experts at Dallmeier placed particular emphasis on the object classification of large numbers of objects such as people and vehicles.

Multiple counting zones and display of fill levels

The AI High Resolution Counting App and the associated neural network are compatible with all Domera® Kameras of the SDF6000 and RDF6000 series as well as with all Panomera® models. For small to medium-sized installations, the SeMSy® Compact video management system offers effective evaluation of counting results and recordings. Larger Hemisphere® SeMSy® systems support the reception and processing of messages defined on the camera with the Enterprise Event Processing Module. The People Counting Module also enables the flexible management of several counting zones, whose fill levels can be displayed in color-coded map views and equipped with individual limit values.
