NFL International Games 2025: Three new venues
The National Football League is planning to organise eight regular season games outside the USA for the first time ever in 2025. Three new venues and several new markets will celebrate their premieres.
In 2023, the NFL clubs decided that from 2025, eight regular season games per year could be organised internationally, rather than just four. After NFL games had been repeatedly held in London since 2007 – at Wembley Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – an NFL game was held on German soil for the first time in Munich in 2022. This was followed by two games at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt in 2023 and another at the Allianz Arena in 2024. There will be three games in London again in 2025, but the increase in international match days is also intended to open new markets: Several locations can look forward to a premiere in 2025 – and another debut has also already been announced for 2026.
