Rising Revenues in European Top-Tier Football
Investments in stadium infrastructure and new constructions are driving increased matchday revenues for European top-tier clubs. This and more are highlighted in UEFA’s The European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report.
In addition to the European Club Talent and Competition Landscape report, which, among other things, examines attendance trends in European football, UEFA publishes the The European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report annually. Typically released in spring, this report analyzes the financial figures of European club football. The analysis of approximately 700 top-tier European clubs concludes that clubs generated a record revenue of 26.8 billion euros (approx. 29.75bn USD / 23.32bn GBP) in 2023—an upward trend.
