Attendance records in European ice hockey

The “Alliance of European Hockey Clubs” has published their yearly attendance-review. Germany's PENNY DEL has a set a new European record and boasts NHL-Level spectator numbers. 12 European clubs achieved an average attendance of more than 10,000 spectators per match in 2024/25.

Every year, the “Alliance of European Hockey Clubs”, the organisation representing the interests of the largest European ice hockey clubs, publishes the attendance figures of the continent's leagues and clubs from the previous season. The E.H.C. Alliance's comprehensive and exclusive survey covers 376 European clubs and 29 leagues, including six second-tier leagues. As in the previous season 2023/24, the German Ice Hockey League is the league with the highest attendance in Europe, with the Kölner Haie as the new attendance record holder.
