UV-resistant Granulate unveiled

The result is an EPDM granule for sports and leisure floorings with an unprecedented UV stability: GEZOFLEX endurance The GEZOFLEX endurance is a separate product line within the GEZOFLEX product family and consists of a total of 6 vibrant colors. The GEZOFLEX endurance granules are identical in color to the standard GEZOFLEX colors. They are therefore the perfect alternative to the GEZOFLEX standard colors for projects where high exposure to UV radiation is to be expected.

GEZOFLEX endurance was developed with the goal of ensuring exceptionally high resistance to UV radiation. In a development process lasting several years, GEZOLAN intensively analyzed all GEZOFLEX standard colors for their UV resistance. Based on the standard formulation of the proven GEZOFLEX EPDM rubber granules, every single raw material was scrutinized down to the last detail and over a hundred material samples were submitted to independent laboratories for artificial weathering. The result is an EPDM granule for sports and leisure flooring with exceptionally long-lasting color stability and unprecedented values on the gray scale! GEZOFLEX endurance far exceeds the value of ≥ 3 on the gray scale after the UVA exposure of 4,896 kJ - 2550 h required by the standard. Even with an exposure duration almost twice as long (9,600 kJ - 5000 h), GEZOFLEX endurance still fulfills the requirements beyond the level required by the standard.

GEZOFLEX endurance not only impress with its astonishing UV resistance but also offers all the benefits of GEZOLAN’s proven EPDM granules and does not make any compromises with regard to performance and technical properties. It also does not differ from other EPDM granules in terms of application variety and processing options. It can be used just as variably and conveniently for all common applications such as athletic tracks and multisport surfaces, playground safety surfaces, prefabricated slabs and rolled goods for various flooring solution and can be processed with a polyurethane binder or a coating
