When Tigers fans return to Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama, they will see a new addition to the game-day experience as Daktronics was selected to design, manufacture and install an LED display in the north end zone for Auburn University football. The installation is taking place in the spring of 2025 and will be ready for action when the Tigers return to the field this fall.

“We are pleased to again partner with Daktronics to further enhance college football’s preeminent game-day experience,” Auburn Deputy Athletic Director for External Affairs Rhett Hobart said. “This new display will elevate the production value at Jordan-Hare Stadium, making Auburn’s award-winning video and graphics content accessible to more fans, including the Auburn student body.”

Video Display Details

The north end zone display will measure 45.5 feet high by 155.5 feet wide and feature a 10-millimeter pixel spacing to deliver increased resolution and crisp, clear imagery to Tigers fans on game day. This display will feature the same capabilities as the south end zone display with variable content zoning and digital content capabilities to deliver all the video, stats, graphics and information fans expect to see during live events.

“We’re thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Auburn that includes what has long been the largest video display in college football and now expands into the opposite end zone to create an even more exceptional visual experience for Tigers fans throughout the stadium, regardless of the location of their seat,” said Glen Marts, Daktronics sales representative on the project. “The team at Auburn has been fantastic to work with to implement these LED display upgrades and we’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with them into the future.”

A custom Daktronics control system, including Show Control, is being integrated into the current Daktronics system at Jordan-Hare Stadium to ensure a seamless production and combination of LED signage for delivering amazing game-day experiences. This industry-leading control system provides a combination of display control software, world-class video processing, data integration and playback hardware that forms a powerful yet user-friendly production solution.

Since 2015, Jordan-Hare Stadium has had the largest end zone video display in college football in the south end zone, manufactured and installed by Daktronics. This has been a cornerstone project on Auburn’s campus to go along with Daktronics displays in the Woltosz Performance Center and the recruiting lounge within the stadium. Other installations on campus include the centerhung at Neville Arena and the outfield display at Plainsman Park and the end field display at the Auburn Soccer Complex. (stadiaworld, 14.05.2025)
