Maverik Stadium Gets LED Display Upgrade

Aggies fans will be greeted with an enhanced visual experience at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah as Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) of Brookings, South Dakota, has partnered with Utah State University to install two LED video displays.

Installation of the displays is currently underway as the university prepares for the fall sports season. “We are excited to install two new video displays at Maverik Stadium before the 2025 season, improving the game-day atmosphere for Aggie Nation,” said Utah State Vice President and Director of Athletics Diana Sabau. "The increased quality will greatly improve the viewing experience and be a long-term fixture at upcoming games and other events held at the stadium."

The main end zone display is roughly 39 feet high by 68 feet wide while the auxiliary display is 13.5 feet high by 48 feet wide. Both displays feature 10-millimeter pixel spacing and feature industry-leading environmental protection to ensure they operate as expected in the Utah outdoors.

“This installation will bring an elevated overall experience to Utah State’s student-athletes and fans, alike,” said Rusty Lenners, Daktronics sales representative. “We’re proud to partner with the university and their team to bring this project to life, and we look forward to it creating a positive impact on their game-day events for years to come.”

Each display is capable of variable content zoning allowing it to show one large image or to be divided into multiple zones of content to create a memorable game-day experience. This content can be live video, instant replays, statistics and game information, graphics and animations, or sponsorship messaging – whatever the school desires to meet the needs of each event.

Daktronics is also including a complete Show Control solution. This industry-leading control system provides a combination of display control software, world-class video processing, data integration and playback hardware that forms a powerful yet user-friendly production solution. Included with the equipment installation, the Aggies will receive a digital content package. Daktronics Creative Services, an in-house, award-winning creative team, is set to produce and deliver the content. Daktronics has grown with the sports industry from the company’s beginnings in 1968. Today, the company has LED video display installations at hundreds of colleges and universities across the United States. (stadiaworld, 07.07.2025)
