FC Barcelona Moves Back to Spotify Camp Nou
For the first time since renovation work began, FC Barcelona can once again play a home game in its own stadium. A new permit significantly increases capacity and enables the club to return to Spotify Camp Nou at the end of November.
FC Barcelona has been extensively modernizing Spotify Camp Nou since June 2023 and has been playing its home games at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys since then. A return originally planned for 2024 was delayed several times, meaning that the club has so far only been able to implement the partial permit for construction phase 1A. This covers the main stand and the south sector with 25,991 seats and recently formed the basis for a public training session as a technical test. At the same time, the Spanish club worked on the operating permit for phase 1B.
